NC Wildlife Seeking Division Chief of Information, Education, and Marketing

The NC Wildlife Resources Commission is seeking a highly-qualified individual to serve as Chief of the Information, Education & Marketing (IEM) Division.

This leadership position is tasked to achieve the strategic goals of WRC through development and implementation of programs, activities, products and events that engage NC’s citizens and visitors in understanding wildlife resources and their relationships to other natural resources and the environment.

The selected individual will lead the work of the Division to convey and implement the Commission’s mission, vision, and values to internal and external audiences. The IEM Division Chief will lead staff efforts in development and implementation of agency strategies for communications, education, publications, and marketing. The IEM Division Chief will develop strategies to measure the success of these activities in supporting and promoting the agency’s mission.  The position is responsible for budget management, program planning, leadership, and management of 50+ employees, with direct supervisory responsibilities for managers. Joins other senior managers to assist executive management in determining and prioritizing the agency’s activities, objectives, and goals.
