FY13 LCC National Funding Opportunity

The National LCC Office has released funding opportunities targeting aquatic resource conservation and developing a network of ecologically functional and connected landscapes.

Financial assistance is being provided by the National LCC office to advance:

  • Integrating Assessment and Planning for Aquatic Resource Conservation at Landscape Scales.
  • Developing a Network of Ecologically Functional and Connected Landscapes by Facilitating Landscape Conservation Design.

A total estimated amount of $700,000 may be awarded under this announcement. The minimum amount for projects is $25,000 and the maximum amount that will be awarded to a project is $250,000.  It is anticipated that about five projects will be awarded.  Projects can be developed with up to a two-year project completion plan but projects with substantial deliverables in a single year relative to the desired outputs will be preferred.

Recipient in-kind and /or cash match is desirable. This program uses grant agreements, cooperative agreements, and Federal Inter/Intra-agency Agreements. A determination of award instrument (grant or cooperative agreement) will be based on the level of Federal involvement. Read more about  this funding opportunity by the National LCC Office.
