We are a community-based organization focused on increasing access to prescribed fire on private lands to benefit the Southern Blue Ridge mountains. Members of the Southern Blue Ridge Prescribed Burn Association include anyone interested in supporting the conservation effort: private forest landowners, natural resource professionals, students, and the public.

The Southern Conservation Trust is dedicated to elevating nature through exceptional stewardship throughout Georgia and the Southeast. Based in Georgia, the Southern Conservation Trust is a US 501 (c)(3) public charity, EIN 58-2036727 that elevates nature through exceptional stewardship through over 57,000 acres of conserved land and public lands throughout the United States (Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Virginia, Colorado, Texas, and Kentucky) including 8 public nature areas in Fayette County, Georgia. We don’t just believe in protecting land, we believe people should have equal access to enjoy it.
Preserving nature is what gives us joy! So we’re focused on making sure that everyone has access to nature. We develop public nature areas, provide environmental education, and conserve tens of thousands of acres of land, waterways, and valuable habitat each year.
We depend on the ongoing support of individuals and corporate partners to ensure that the work we do will continue well into the future. We’re proud to say that we’ve been protecting the land we love and providing environmental education since 1993.

Spatial Informatics Group
Founded in 1998, Spatial Informatics Group, LLC (SIG) is a group of applied thinkers with expertise in environmental fields ranging from landscape ecology, wildlife ecology, transportation modeling, ecosystem services valuation, natural hazards, and forestry to natural resource economics. Our group combines spatial analytics with ecological, social and economic sciences to understand the effects of management and policy choices on the short and long-term stability of ecosystems. We translate data into knowledge that can be used to inform decisions.
SIG can work at all levels of a project. Depending on a client’s needs, SIG can perform discrete tasks, or manage the whole project. We work with clients to answer simple to complex monitoring and research questions using a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach supported by advanced analysis techniques. We have a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality products within client driven timetables.

This is a list of species that the AquaCorridors Tool Suite selected to make the at-risk aquatic species layer that is used by the AquaCorridor Data Layer Library and Mapper. Our group filtered NatureServe at-risk species data by conservation status and included aquatic species found in the Southeast that are considered imperiled and/or critically imperiled on a sub-national or global level (G1, G2, S1, S2).
