Tennessee River Basin Network
Tennessee River Basin Network aims to inspire and empower people to effectively steward the region's aquatic biodiversity. The Network is comprised of two Communities of Practice (Science & Management, Communication & Outreach) to promote engagement and collective learning. By bringing members of shared expertise and experience together regularly, partners are given the opportunity to help one another and share information and resources, thus enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of conservation efforts.
Tennessee Valley Authority
The Tennessee Valley Authority, a corporation owned by the U.S. government, provides electricity for 9 million people in parts of seven southeastern states at prices below the national average. TVA, which receives no taxpayer money and makes no profits, also provides flood control, navigation and land management for the Tennessee River system and assists utilities and state and local governments with economic development.
Tools for Engaging Landowners Effectively (TELE)
Tools for Engaging Landowners Effectively (TELE) works with partner organizations from all sectors to help them design and implement more effective programming and outreach. TELE can help you convince more landowners to adopt a desired behavior, whether that’s harvesting timber, permanently conserving land, or anything in between. We can help you connect with your audiences on a more personal and meaningful level. Most importantly, TELE tools and techniques can help you leverage your resources to successfully reach and persuade the right audiences to achieve your landscape level goals
Western Fire Chiefs Association
The purpose of the Western Fire Chiefs Association is to serve as a representative of choice of (and for) career and volunteer leaders of fire related emergency service organizations throughout the WFCA member states and the Western Pacific Islands. The WFCA helps develop, and supports the work of, those leaders and organizations in order that they may best provide for the protection of people and the environment from the occurrence and outcomes of fires and other natural, technological and human-behavior-caused emergencies.
Western North Carolina Alliance
For 30 years, the Western North Carolina Alliance has been a trusted community partner, marshaling grassroots support to keep North Carolinian forests healthy, air and water clean, and communities vibrant.
Working Together for the New England Cottontail
Working Together for the New England Cottontail provides information for landowners, practitioners, and the public about the threatened New England Cottontail throughout Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, and Rhode Island.
