This meeting also provided an opportunity to evaluate the progress and success of the Appalachian LCC, and will help inform the allocation of time and financial resources over the next years. Participants will create a high-level framework (“strawdog”) that will frame the next 5-Year Work Plan to successfully get the emerging landscape-level conservation science on-the-ground.

- Can only be done by the LCC;
- Offers a unique or emerging opportunity;
- Addresses a threat or existing risk.
- Input on critical actions needed to deliver the science over the next five years.
